We know that when looking for a church, you want a safe, clean, nurturing environment for your little ones. At Trinity, we keep your children protected with child-safe rooms, background-checked and trained workers, and a beeper system to notify you when your child needs your special attention. Our rooms are a great place for your children to relax and explore, with age-specific toys and surroundings and kind, trustworthy caregivers. In addition to supervised play time, your babies will enjoy singing, rocking, and Bible story times.
Nursery care is offered Sunday mornings during the Sunday School and Worship hours, and on most Sunday evenings from 5:15-7pm for parents attending community groups and small groups. The nursery is usually open for church events as well.
For more information, contact Monica Pettus, Nursery Director.

Children participate in fun activities such as annual celebrations like the Sock Hop and Fall Festival, gymnastics, music and computer class. Our curriculum will help prepare your Pre-K child for Kindergarten. Our hours are 8:15-12:30, Monday-Friday, with an extended day option available until 2:45 pm. Middle School (6th-8th grade)
At Trinity, we want our students to develop a love for the church and an understanding of the gospel. There is no better time than middle school to develop this. In middle school, our students are starting to experience new levels of freedom and independence, and more importantly, are starting to ask more in depth questions about life and faith. Our goal for our middle school students is to begin to develop community and learn the basics of the gospel.
Wednesday Nights in The Shed are the perfect time for our kids to come together with their friends, share a meal, have a blast, hear the gospel, and have a time of processing and discussion. Through this time, our desire is for our students to develop meaningful friendships centered around Jesus and His church. Be sure to join us from 5:30-7:30 each Wednesday night.
High School (9th-12th grade)
As our students continue to grow and mature, we want them to grow deeper in their faith and in their understanding of the gospel. We also want them to grow deeper in their connection with the church body. We aim to do this by intentionally putting them into contact with church members of different generations. We do this for two major reasons. First, we believe our students have unique gifts given by God to serve the church, and second, they benefit greatly by seeing life beyond their own age group.
Sunday Nights in The Shed are a time for our high school students to come and enjoy community and teaching, and our life groups are times for our students to grow together as they experience Christian community together. Be sure to join us from 5:30-7:00 each Sunday night! If your student wants to be a part of a life group, please contact Chandler Rowlen or Preston Adair.
On Sundays, students are invited to participate in worship at 9:30 and 11:00am during the Spring and Fall and at 10:00am during the Summer.
Sunday School: 10:00-10:45am* | High School students- meet in The Shed | Middle School students- Room 117
*Sunday School is held from 9:00-9:45am in the Summer.
The Shed: Wednesdays - Middle School 5:30-7:30 (dinner provided) | Sundays - High School 5:30-7:00 (dinner not provided)
Nights in the Shed will begin August 13th and end on November 15th. Please check the calendar for nights off!
Several times during the year we also offer youth trips, service opportunities, and special events. Check out the calendar for more info, and fill out the form to the right to be contacted by our Student Ministry staff and added to the weekly email!
We love that God brings college and graduate students to Tuscaloosa every year from all over the world and that many find a home at Trinity. This is a time when many of us figure out more of who we are, where we belong, and what we are going to do with our lives. We explore questions about life and faith and learn to follow Jesus before they are all answered.
At Trinity, we hope you find a community in which Jesus meets us, ministers to us, and from which he sends us out to bless the world. Our vision for these years extends beyond our congregation to the campus ministries that we love and support. In many ways, they are there with you on campus every day of the week. Check them out and get plugged in by clicking on their links below.
Contact Robin Lake for more information on college ministry at Trinity and check out the campus ministries we support!
College Connections: Early this fall we’d love to share with you over lunch more of a vision for your time in Tuscaloosa and how you can connect at Trinity. These lunches will occur after the 11:00 service on August 27th, September 3rd, and September 10th. More details to follow!
Adopt-a-Student Ministry: A great way to connect at Trinity is with a family through our “adopt-a-student” ministry. We match groups of students with families in our church. This takes many different shapes but often includes meals together and the opportunity to get off campus and into a home again. To get involved as a student or to host a student, please contact Robin Lake.
Our men gather together for discipleship intensives multiple times a year. These programs typically involve a corporate meal, small groups and teaching times. They also include an at-home component to reinforce and deepen our understanding of the Bible. The next offering of Men's Discipleship will begin January 2018.
The women of Trinity gather together in small groups throughout the week. Some groups meet at night and some during the day. Some even offer childcare at the church for busy moms! Below are the Fall 2017 offerings of Women's small groups. Sign up here to join a group.

At Trinity, we believe the Holy Spirit works out significant spiritual growth in small groups of people within the church. Communities are a place for relationships to begin and deepen, for vulnerability and acceptance to challenge us in new ways. The primary meeting time for these communities is during the Sunday School hour each week. Some offshoot community groups form from these classes that consist of between 8 and 20 people who meet weekly or bi-weekly for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Childcare for Sunday evening groups is offered through TrinKids PM and Nursery at the church. For more information, visit our Communities page, or contact Chris at email@example.com.
