The shaping of our hearts and minds by the Spirit of God happens in many ways- through trials and suffering, in circumstances of rejoicing and of pain, often beyond our control. But we can choose to enter into the process and submit ourselves to his teaching and care through the study of the Bible, prayer, and service to others, individually and in community. Below are some classics and a few newer writings on what it means to know God and to be shaped by his love, day in and day out, in the miraculous and the mundane.
